I wanted to improve on my data visualization skills, so I joined Tableau's data visualization contest this year. The theme for this year is around health and wellness, and with that I decided to use StatCanada's data about chronic diseases from the year 2000 to early 2010's. I chose this data set because it was the most comprehensive, and had multiple attributes I can play around with.

For this contest I was curious about the following:

• What are the most prevalent chronic diseases of Canada?
• How does the national top 10 differ across the provinces?
• Are there certain spikes in some diseases over the years?
• What age demographic is affected by what disease? and do they differ across geography (province)?
• Are males or females affected disproportionately when it comes to certain disorders?

The main takeaways I got from participating in this contest is how to create a story within Tableau, small multiples, and more visually appealing visuals. Below is my submission - take a look and feel free to play around with it!
